The Southern Right Whale comes to the Garopaba bay
to raise his offspring in the Brazilian Winter
months ( May to September). The whales are up to 18
meters long. Boats go out almost daily to the sea
where the whales can be seen from very close by. Get
up early though. The boats usually leave around 9
am.
