The 150,000 people city Jaraguá do Sul is about 1
hour away from the beach and so not one of the most
obvious travel destionation. The surrounding palm
hills are truly giving a completely tropical
impression though. The picture shows one of the many
Pesque e Page places (Fish & Pay). You can try your
luck fishing in the lake and then just take your
fish home for a relative cheap price (about 1.50 $
per Kilo). As every bigger city in the Northern
Santa Catarina area Jaraguá also has its German
festival - Schützenfest.
